Building Upgrades

We all know that time and weather has taken a toll on the lodge.  During the past two years we have upgraded the ceiling tiles in the kitchen along with the lighting, added new carpet to the foyer and put in a new heating and air conditioner units.

Now comes the fun work, new bathrooms!  We are planning to redo the current bathrooms in the lodge.  This will be a total rip out and upgrade.  The trustees have meet and put together a budget and time line.  This time line is aggressive but if we put our heads  together and our backs to work it can be done. To see the project chart please click here.  The first phase will be to upgrade the hall bathroom.  The work has started with the rip out being completed and now we need to rebuild it.

There will be a work party for the bathroom Saturday the 8th at 9AM. Please check back to see the dates for other work parties, WE NEED HELP!  If you can make it please send me an email at don@tuttles.us

2011 Dues are Due!

It is now October, and it is getting close to that dreaded time of year again. The time when Dues Notices must go out.

Dues for 2011 are due by December 31st. 2010. The Lodge portion of the Dues has increased from $50.50 to $60.00. The Grand Lodge Assessment has been increased from $37.00 to $39.75. The total dues for 2011 will be $99.75.

Dual members, whose Mother Lodge (Lodge of Record) is in New Jersey, only have to pay to Mantua Lodge, the Lodge portion of the dues. You will pay the Grand Lodge Assessment through your Mother Lodge. If your Mother Lodge is in another state, you will be required to pay the Grand Lodge Assessment through Mantua Lodge.

I typically get the new Dues Cards from Grand Lodge in October. The Dues Notices will be mailed out shortly afterward.

If you are having financial difficulties, and are unable to pay your dues, please contact me or the Worshipful Master. We will work with you. The last thing we want to do is suspend a Brother for non-payment of dues. All will be held in the strictest confidence.

 Fraternally,

 Leonard J. Rust, PM
